Clients
expecting tax refunds have a choice of disbursement options
including cashiers’ checks, direct deposits, and the
myAdvantage® card program described below:
Cashier checks may be received as
soon as the first day in our offices when you request and
are approved for the Instant Tax Refund Loan®, or in
12 to 48 hours with the Refund Anticipation Loan, and in
8-14 days with the Refund Anticipation Check.
Direct Deposit is available with
the Refund Processing Transfer program or through traditional
refund processing.
myAdvantage® Card Program: gives you
the option of getting your tax refund amount loaded onto
a prepaid debit card.
Benefits:
• You can request a card funded by a RAL, IRAL, Federal
RAC or State RAC
• Cards may be used to make purchases at millions
of retail locations that accept Maestro® and to withdraw
cash at ATMs that accept Maestro® or Cirrus®
• Eliminates return trips to our office to pick up
a cashier check
• Eliminates inconvenient bank delays or check-cashing
fees
• Cards require PIN for transactions so that lost
or stolen cards cannot be used
• A new card can be replaced for the client if lost
or stolen
• Cards are instantly issued right in our tax office
• Funds can be accessed almost immediately after a
bank product is approved and funded (in as little as an
hour or less
